Like a BT1000 - just bigger.

A BT2000 is always custom designed - built according to the needs of the customer.

 

It can be electrically driven or with steam or with both. It can also be delivered as a split version (BTS2000).

 

The electric power is around 60 kW for the lower vessel (boiler).​

Diameter = approx. 200 cm

Height = at least 315 cm (or much lower as BTS2000)

​​The BT2000 presented below has electric heaters and steam combined since the facility could not supply enough electric power or steam power - but combined it is enough for a BT2000. The upper vessel is only used for one step mashing. That's why we placed the electric heater above the filter. It is only used to heat up the water to mash in temperature. But it can step mash with steam in the upper vessel. We also designed a suitable auger to easily mash in.

The brewing process is as simple as only possible: Mash into upper vessel, prepare sparge water in lower vessel, pump sparge water to fermenter, start lautering from upper vessel to lower vessel, use sparge water from fermenter for lautering, boil in lower vessel, create whirlpool in lower vessel, pump clear wort through the plate heat exchanger into fermenter.
